Here is an original “Happy New Year” baby doll given to me by my Mother, when I was young. (What was she thinking?!?!) He hails from Germany and comes equipped with a very happy new year baby’s authentic parts!
So for want of an effectively appropriate name, I shall call him.....Peter!
Little Peter, the New Year’s Baby!
Little Peter is a very happy baby, even though he was born with a bad permanent wave.
See him playing in the new year’s snow...
See him making his new year’s resolutions:
To get more exercise...
Stiller nacht my Little Peter.
I’m sure we all feel a certain connection to your Germanic Little Peter, Nancy. After all, we can only work with what we’re given. Germans insist on leading by example, I’ve come to accept, and who can argue anatomy? My German father was christened in a dress, but that was well before the master race episode. The master race may be gone, but the dress is closet archived, so to speak. What can that mean? And Little Peter seems to be everywhere. That’s pretty tough to argue as well.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, you are a light, dear, and your gift, a.k.a. darn hard work is an example for any of us interested in art or that “inner examination” stuff.
